Studio U is home to two other makers, who not only share the space, but many laughs, skills and knowledge.
It was important for Sae-Won to create a space that could also be used by other makers, particularly at a time when studio space is getting more-and-more scarce even in a creative hub such as Hackney Wick. Studio U mates include Yasuko Arakawa and Valeria Nicolucci, who create a great variety of work, from tableware to one-off sculptural pieces.
